Freddie Mac: Mortgage rates top 4% for first time since May

This week, the 30-year interest rate average came in above the psychologically important 4% for the first time since May, an increase of seven basis points from last week. Freddie Mac explained rates are finally catching up with the sudden Treasury yield increase.
